About Us
When we started out as an Executive Director team we were tasked with having to raise funds to help as many people as we could. We quickly realized there was a huge gap in the area of knowledge or support on the science of fund development. There was pressure to secure funding while trying to run the day to day operations of the organization. And we didn’t know where to begin. We had no idea what an effective fund development strategy should look like. What was the best way to connect with donors? Where do we find partners, foundations or grants? How much money should we ask for? So many questions with such little time.This began our journey to learning everything we could about fund development. There really is a science to it. Since starting as an Executive Director, Tim is now fundraising full-time. He has raised millions of dollars for charities across Canada earning his CFRE (Certified FundRaising Executive). Shelley has continued on in non profit Executive Leadership and together we want to help nonprofits succeed.This is why Ampliii was formed. Through the 3R approach – Reach, Reputation, and Resources – charities are discovering the support they need to achieve their fundraising goals.
